The ingredients needed to make Baked Pancakes:
  1. Get 4 TBS margarine
  2. Get 2 C Baking mix (like Bisquik)
  3. Take 1 egg
  4. Get 1 1/3 C Milk
  5. Prepare 1/2 TSP vanilla extract
  6. Make ready 1/2 TSP salt
  7. Get 4 TBS sugar
Steps to make Baked Pancakes:
  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. Place margarine in the bottom of your baking dish and place in the oven while preheating (just to melt it).
  3. Combine all dry ingredients in a medium bowl. Wisk.
  4. Remove pan from oven once margarine is melted. Set aside while preparing pancake batter.
  5. Add remaining ingredients. Wisk. Do not over mix.
  6. Add pancake batter to baking dish and bake for 10 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. (Sometimes its done faster depending on how big your dish is. The thicker they are,the longer it takes)
  7. Butter the top. VARIATIONS: sprinkle with powdered sugar, cover with honey for a healthier version, also freezer friendly!
  8. These also work well to make a "McGriddle" type sandwhich and freeze it for a make-ahead breakfast option! Enjoy :-D
